Things change...

So as life goes things change! The people that applied for Miss Missy backed out! I told Missy the news! She took it like a trooper and gave me kisses and a waggy tail! lol!!!
So sometimes people change their mind... and it’s fine... I want Missy to be adopted by someone who can’t wait to be her forever and ever people!
Good news is I get to spend more time with one of the easiest foster dogs I’ve ever had and I have fostered over 80 doggies! Yup... that is true!
Love Ya, Miss Missy pants. πŸ’—πŸŽ€❣️

Sunday with the snuggler.

Sunday morning sitting together on the chair. She’s a snuggler! Missy takes a little time to get to know you. She is shy. You will need to go slow and realize she has gone through many many changes. She feels safe right now and is attached to me. We have not introduced her to very much leash walking, yet. Her first week was just spent getting to know us and settling in. She is chilling out and losing her fears. That’s all good!!!

Missy is eating well. She eats slowly. Missy sleeps where she wants to at our house. Mostly now it’s right next to me at night. Sometimes it’s in her crate. We have a crate in the kitchen and in my bedroom. Doors open. She uses them at will. Her ‘naughty thing’ is garbage digging. She likes to tear up tissues and find goodies to scatter around the floor. So garbage needs to be covered. I will start to teach Missy to sit now that she’s taking treats from my hand. I believe she will be a quick learner!
Missy does like to chew on bones or hoofs. So you will want to get some things like that. She has very white n shiny teeth!

Pending adoption

Soooo I just saw this!
When you are cute and housetrained it doesn’t take long! Missy may be heading to her forever home if the home visit goes ok! Until then we will enjoy our time with her!
She sure is a keeper❣️

She rarely makes a peep! I guess the thought of adoption is pretty exciting!
Let’s hope things work out and it’s a home run! πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Finally Friday

My Friday morning pic to get your day off to a happy start is Missy with a bow on top of her head. Isn’t that adorbs?!? What a girly girl!
I woke up to Missy sleeping in her crate (door is open) on her pillow... when she saw I was  awake she hopped back up on the bed to give me morning kisses!  What a sweet way to start out my Friday πŸ’•πŸΎπŸ’•.
Now time to check out all the puddles. We had lots of rain last night.

A happy girl getting praise for doing “business” in the yard! GOOD GIRL, Missy!!!

Missy is a pokey puppy... morning routine: goes outside, stretches, eats a bit, wanders into yard for potty time, back to finish her 1/2 eaten breakfast. Of course there are lots of breaks of just standing next to me and wanting petting and attention! LOL! This is what slows up the chain of events! Hee hee. Here she is eating breakfast  ‘round two’ out of her bowl. So anyway, you must schedule a good 15 minutes and then she’s finally alllll done! Back into the house for a treat and hanging out and being lazy on a dog bed while mommy gets her coffee! On a side note... we have very wet grass today and Missy did brave getting her tootsies wet!!🌧☂️πŸ’¦

Thursday with Missy πŸ’—

Good morning!!!
Missy was whining in her crate on night 2 so we let her sleep with us. Here she is early AM all cozy and happy! She sleeps quietly in bed and  stayed by my feet! Luv her!!!πŸ₯°

She’s having her breakfast cereal out on the patio again... ok, it’s her new kibble... and she loves it!
Another gorgeous morning!

No the glasses are not real... just a little fun with stickers.
She is out in the sun so if she could wear glasses these would be adorable.

It’s a tongue out kinda day🌞!
Both girls wearing their Peace Sign shirts! See I told you I have a lot of doggy clothes! ☺️
Today while at work we did not crate Missy. Just left her gated in the kitchen. All was in order upon return...so I’m sure she will earn house freedom when we are gone very soon!!!

Making friends

Missy enjoys her dog friends at her foster home. She is especially attached to my little girl dog, who is around the same size. It’s only been a day but Missy is already getting attached to everyone! We all love her and think she is an easy foster! I went to the store and purchased some Fromm food for small dog breeds for her little tiny teeth to chew! She is starting to accept treats from us but is fussy. Lol! I gave her a bite of apple. Nope! So my dogs gobbled it up! Missy loves a lap and lays her head on your shoulder! So sweeeeet!  She sheds though so black pants may have white fur on them. It’s a light shed so not bad. #noworries

She does not mind wearing cute clothes! That’s good because I have a dresser full! πŸ€£πŸ’—πŸ˜†πŸ’•

Since she is potty trained, YAY, Missy gets full run of the house! She adores the couch!

Hello Wednesday! 🌼

A little early morning breakfast. Patio eating.

Then a whole bunch of stretch’s!!!
So far no potty accidents but we will see... she has gone potty in the yard. Missy slept in our bedroom last night in her cozy crate. She was quiet but snores! πŸ˜†

You Tube posted here of Missy on leash this morning. She did fine but is going to be practicing with her confidence.
Now I’m off to work and Missy is snuggled into her crate!
See ya later, cutie!!!πŸ’•

Missy arrives! WELCOME :)

Welcome to MISSY! Here she is traveling to her foster home. She is a little one year old cutie from AL who was for an unknown reason turned into a shelter with 3 other dogs. Isn’t she a doll!?!

Missy decided it was fun to snoop around her new digs! Here she is hiding by some flowers.

I gave Missy a little brush and trim. She recently was spayed so no bath as of yet! She loved meeting my two terriers and was timid but friendly to me and my husband.
We are excited to have her visit us and find her forever family.
