Miss Sophie...

If you watch this video and think... hmmm... that wasn’t the best sit... you are correct, it’s not! Sophie is a puppy so at times her sits are sooo perfect and other times she’s too silly to think. Haha! I just wanted to show you here her bouncy personality and her willingness to try again! She’s so happy!!! She’s so cute, too! The ear flip thing is real! 😁 The second sit was better! 👍🏻 Real life with a real and unpredictable pup! 🐶

After this video I gave Sophie a bath in the tub. She was squirmy but settled in after a minute and did fine. I clipped a few stray hairs by her eyes and brushed her up. She’s adorable! Also she has been perfect here now with potty manners. I’m happy about that!!! What a sweeeet Miss Sophie! 🐾💓

Finally Friday!!!

Happy Friday!!!

If you are interested in the potty progress report watch the video. Sophie is eating her breakfast out on the patio. I enjoy doing this with my pups on beautiful summer mornings... a relaxing way to start my day. If you look closely at the video I see Sophie’s ear is flipped back again. Haha! She has ear flip trouble... we get a kick out of her silly ears!!! Btw, after eating her kibble she did her potty/poop duties! Yay Sophie!! 🐶💩😁

P.S. I should mention we have a fenced yard. That might be an important factor for Sophie as she has not been potty trained on a leash. So if you have a fenced yard I think you will have no problem with her training and I think it best for Sophie’s continued progress. 

A Keeper...

Miss Soph has such a cute personality!!! She’s been stealing my pup Asti's Hedgehog toy and the two girls distract each other and try and run away with it back and forth. Tee Hee!!!

She also has been doing fast zoomies in the back yard with my other dog, Parson... who is trying to keep up with her ... but he can’t! His legs are short! Lol!!! She’s just a hoot to watch! When all the shenanigans are over the 3 dogs all run in and find a spot to rest. This plaid chair is one of Sophie’s “spots”. I like this chair too but I’m willing to share with my girl! As I type this she’s sprawled out on the floor rug almost ready for bed. Yawn! A busy day for my little girl friend! I’m very proud of how well she’s adjusting and all in all she’s doing very well. She’s a keeper❣️

One week Anniversary!!!

Sophie has been our foster girl for one week. Now the true FUN begins! She is now settled in. She’s starting to consistently potty outside. She knows us and has her comfy spots chosen in the house. We are all in a routine. She is such a good little girl. Waiting here until her real family finds her.

Day 5

My youngest son has Down Syndrome. He adores Sophie! Sophie adores him! She is super gentle and sweet. She is also playful and fun when she chases around tossing her toys in the air! She does not chew on fingers. We are so thrilled to be her Foster-Fam!!! 😍🐶💕

Day 4

Saturday was wet! The pups did not like it but I can tell you Sophie has no weather fears! No loud noise fears. It’s all fine!

She’s such a good girl. Has been playing with dog toys, chewing dog chews and has never gotten into my things. Once she’s house trained she will be the perfect pup! She’s doing better house training too. She is not a piddler. Goes once a day or maybe twice. It’s really all a matter of time and practice.

Day 3

Morning Walk!

Sophie is a typical pup... walks straight, then veers here n there and sniff sniff! 

We love going on little walking adventures!

Day 2

Today we made a dog park “run”! It was a blast for Sophie and Parson! Sophie was super friendly, not barky but waggy tailed, happy and ADORABLE! 

She had a GREAT TIME!

Day 1

Sophie slept like a log in the crate in our bedroom. She didn’t snore or whine. Even when I got up early and got ready she waited quietly. 

Here she is eating an early AM breakfast on the patio. 

Then a walk!

She’s shy and a bit hesitant but an easy walker. She is soooo gentle!

Sorry but on my phone it won’t let me reply to questions. 😩 Anyway to reply: Sophie is 15 lbs. Prob as an adult 20-23 lbs. Currently like a tall Jack Russell. Not big. Fine boned. Has room to fill out. Only a pup! 

Adopted!

 Karin fell in love with Missy and will be naming her Hildegard. Hilde for short!

Getting Adopted Sunday!

Missy likes to snooze in her crate. We sometimes close the door when we leave but mostly Missy just hangs out in the house. Today as I sit at the kitchen table she’s catching some zzzzzs in her crate! Sunday is her adoption day! Sounds like she will be a Badger Cheer Leader girl as she’s heading to Mad-town!

Good Morning!!!

What are we doing today?!? 🤣

What’s up?

Hey everyone! So what have you been doing!?  Today it was rainy in the morning but foster mom and I got a walk in before it poured. Then mom went to the farmers market with an umbrella and a little later came home to see me and the rain stopped! Yay! We’ve been doing chores around the house.  I’ve been supervising mom has been working. I just came in from being outside playing in the yard and the sun is out! Big yawn...I am getting a bit sleepy so now I’m on my favorite comfy chair. Maybe nappy time soon. If someone adopts me I hope they allow me on the furniture  because I really like to sit on the furniture! So please give me the chance to do so!  I really don’t shed much ...in fact, I don’t think you will even notice it unless you brush me ...then you do get a little bit out in the brush. The more I get to like my family here the more I like to give them kisses!!!

Bath for Missy

 I’m not too sure if watching a dog get a bath is exciting but this is what we did today!

Ohhhh more rain!

Last night Missy started to play with a stuffed honking hedgehog toy! Pic is a little blurry but she was moving. 

Today she had to go AM potty time out in the rain. Not so fun for her but she did it! That a girl!!! 💦

Time to head to work. Looks like Mis is gonna hang out on my bed! I keep an old sheet covering my bed as my boy dog sheds. Then my bed isn’t furry! Lol Missy doesn’t shed much but isn’t shed free either. I love how relaxed she is getting! 

Monday walking

Missy had a great walk this morning! She met a neighbor’s dog nose to nose and was happy to say hi! She is gaining confidence on her leash but still lags behind a little. I love her sweet face that looks up  at me at times while we are walking along. She is a precious little gal.
