Lazy Saturday!!! 😁🐶

What’s happening here? I made an Apple Pie! Georgie chewed a bone and went out and in and out and in... we keep the back door propped open. Now he’s on my lap! #selfie

Eventually he ended up back down and he does a good rug imitation! LOL!!! He’s usually nearby and is a loving little companion. Hope your Saturday is a happy one. 🥰

My sweeeeet Georgie has had some problems with drinking too much water (like non stop) and having dilute urine with a large volume of pee. So the vet checked him and we found his liver ALT to be at 116. It’s high. So he’s taking a pill called Denamarin. Let’s pray this is the answer. Next week I’ll take him for a recheck. He’s been more frisky. Praying for good results and healing Georgie! 🙏🏻 Otherwise he’s an easy-peasy amazing cute little dog. He never gets into my stuff. Not jumpy or sassy to those he loves. We think he’s the BEST!!! ❤️

Fetch!

Georgie plays fetch! He’s a happy boy! He has such a sweet demeanor. 

Here is a question you might ask:

Is he potty trained? No ...but it’s not like he isn’t almost there either. He doesn’t mark at all. He goes to the door. It’s just sometimes he can’t wait! When he has to go he has to go! At least that’s where he’s at. So he’s got the concept. 

Now back to that game of fetch..

He is as good as he looks! Today he played with toys and is asking for pets. No more pacing.. he’s much calmer and so waggy tailed. A NICE boy!!!

John dog sat while I was out of town today! When he sent me this I had a good laugh!!!

Georgie is really settling in and is losing his fears. I really like him! 💓 He loves John too... especially when he lets him roll in mud after the rain we’ve had! At least when I got home he was all cleaned up and white as can be!!! Boys with boys... what can I say!

Welcome!!! New foster :)

Today I got a new foster! A very cute Westie who found himself at the Milwaukee Animal Control. How did he get there? Unfortunately I don’t know! If he was a stray or somebody turned him in... a mystery. So, he’s now here... in the Green Bay Area and we are excited to have him here!!!  His world has turned from familiar to all new. We will help him navigate. It won’t be scary.  We hope after a few days he finds life here happy and fun! 

I have decided to call him Georgie. My dad recently went to heaven and his middle name was George so in his honor I picked Georgie for this adorable boy. 

What’s Georgie like? So far... people friendly, he likes both men and women, he’s dog friendly and very comfortable inside the home. Of course he is pacing around and somewhat confused and nervous tonight. That’s to be expected! He has pottied and pooped outside and drank a lot of water. It won’t take long, I predict,  and he will settle in. We look so forward to getting to know Georgie!
