On Monday Georgie gets his sutures out and will be tested for diabetes insipidus. It has nothing to do with blood sugars and everything to do with missing a certain hormone that would allow him to concentrate his urine. In the meantime, while we get ready, I am limiting his water each day a little more so that we build up his electrolytes. Today he got 3 1/2 cups. Tomorrow 2 3/4 cups. Etc.
Georgie is doing much better than he was a week ago and he is getting much more peppy and alert following his operation. It’s great to see the old Georgie back!!!
